Neuton CE 6 battery powered lawn mower reviewed

Friday July 17, 2009

I love this mower. I've been using one for several months now, working it alongside commercial grade gas powered mowers and it has held up excellent. Beyond the environmental impact of a zero emission mower, the Neuton is so quiet and easy to maintain, gas mowers will soon be a thing of the past. Mowing the lawn is a pleasure with the Neuton.

Especially for the homeowner, battery powered mowers are a whole new world. No gasoline engine means no storing or spilling fuel. No more running out to buy gas at the last minute. No draining the tank for winterizing. No going crazy pulling on the rip-cord wondering why it won't start. No noisy engine belching out fumes inducing a headache.

The Neuton is able to mow up to 1/3 of an acre on one charge, depending on the conditions of the grass. Extra batteries are available making it easy to drop a charged one in and keep mowing if necessary.

Gas powered mowers are known to be among the worst polluters in North America but local governments have recently taken action with lawn mower exchange programs. Check with your municipality, they may be offering Neutons at a bargain in exchange for your old gas mower.
