I don't know about you, but around here there are tons of lawn care companies. From the big boys like ChemLawn, oops I mean TrueGreen, to the smaller outfits who seem to be around every corner and parked in every cul-de-sac. Just remember, all lawn care services are not created equal.
A good lawn care company will have licensed pesticide applicators and trained landscapers on staff. They should be clean, courteous, look professional, and most importantly, they should offer their services both in convenient packages and a la carte. If you don't want an extensive season-long package, there should be no problem. You should heave the freedom to pick and choose the services that are right for you.
A reputable lawn care company should have organic or natural alternatives to conventional fertilizers and pesticides, however these services can be more expensive.
There are many reasons as to why one would want to call in professionals. The biggest concern though, is cost. Why do lawn care companies charge so much?
