Not all lawns are large, rolling, suburban masterpieces. Urban lawns are often much smaller patches of turf that have a slightly different requirements.
Lawn equipment usually used on suburban lawns are rendered useless on their tiny urban counterparts. Fertilizer spreaders, mowers, and sprinklers all need to be thought of on a smaller scale for the urban lawn.
However, just because your plot of grass is smaller, doesn't make it any less enjoyable. A small patch of urban turf can be a little oasis in a concrete jungle. It doesn't take much space to play bocce or croquet, or just lay around and soak up some sun.
Whatever size the lawn is, it still comes down to the health of the soil. A rich, healthy soil will grow the best lawn, even if it's smaller than most.
