- I found it to be more cost effective to use a service, after figuring the cost of equipment & paying retail for materials. We are in the Boston area and use an Organic company called Pure Lawns. For what they charge me, it isn't worth my time to do it myself.

Contamination
- I have looked at several lawn care companys and found that very few, if any, clean the equipement properly. I don't need Frank's weeds in my yard. This is a big problem for my wife me as I consider us to be perfectionists, when it comes to our lawn. We are both 70 years old and are limited in what we can do, plus we have 40 years + invested in the yard.
