Zero turn lawn mowers have been all the rage for a while now but what is it that sets them apart from other mowers? In short, maneuverability and speed put the zero turn mower into a class all it's own. They are especially popular with lawn care companies where time literally equals money, the quicker a piece of property can be mowed, the quicker you can get to the next account.
While they do have their advantages, zero turn mowers are generally pricier than conventional lawn mowers and although they can squeeze into spots other mowers cannot, zero turn mowers have limitations on slopes and hills.
They may not be ideal for every application but the zero turn mower has certainly found it's niche in the world of lawn mowers.

With padded chairs and cup holders, these are quite the opposite of the “reel” mowers you talked about the other day
It’s even more worth the investment for us to buy the Hydrostatic driven models. The belt driven are good, but the Hydro offers quick reverse, back up, and true zero turn, without using a braking system (which can tear the turf where the braked wheel pivots).
